Should books be taught in schools?

Children are the future of society. Reading a novel may sound obvious, but how many teachers would have started the practice of reading it aloud in the class? This practice to read novels in the classroom has a great impact of students to develop their interest in reading and to understand books since early age.

Connecting the novel with practical examples or universal themes would help children to understand working of the society. A book can teach students numerous things like building strategies, increasing vocabulary, etc. When a book is connected with themes, children tend to develop relationships with the topic of theme. As children read and write together, reading a book aloud helps them understand words in a better way.

There are various books available on Plottake which can be used as a useful medium to initiate this practice. Books are a critical part in the life of children which helps to build themselves and learn about the various aspects of society. Reading books in class could help children to develop their interest in a particular subject and decide their career path at an early age. Children tend to have a sensitive and open mind and they learn a lot while young.

Want to initiate book reading to your students? Plottake is a place where you can get access to numerous books to start with.
